When talking to equestrians, they often mention that their yard wouldn’t be pretty enough for a photoshoot. And where I can understand this concern, the answer is always that of course it is.
First and most importantly, your session is not about the backdrop, it is about the bond you share with your horse. When you see your framed portrait hanging on the wall, what you will remember are the moments, the laughter, and the connection, not whether there was a grand landscape behind you.
But over the years, I have yet to visit a yard where I could not find something wonderful to work with. Even the simplest field or stable corner has beauty that is waiting to be brough out and it can become the perfect setting when seen through the right lens. When I arrive, we will take a short walk together around your yard, exploring the surroundings and finding those hidden gems. With experience and an artist’s eye, I will create timeless portraits that focus on what matters most, you and your horse.
